I have 2 cats prone to itchy, dry, cracked skin. I apply the cream to the spot(s) at least once a day. It must help ease the itch because the cat stops scratching. If the cream is still tacky on the affected area 12 hours later I do not reapply. I wait until the next day to do so.
My cats do not lick it off.
A rescue group I know of took in a kitten with burns. After vet care, they used this cream to help the burns heal. They praise it. I know it works for me.

my cat had a bad outbreak around her eyes. Extreme redness and constant scratching of the area kept it irritated. I used this product on a daily basis and after day nine the redness has decreased, the hair is growing back, and there are just a few scabs left. My cat is no longer scratching at the infected area and it is beginning to heal nicely. The product says you can apply the cream up to 2 times a day. I was only able to apply it twice for a few of the days just due to my schedule. But even with once a day application it has worked wonders.

My 8 yr old rescue dog Drake is very hard to treat with ANYTHING! He will not be groomed, bathed, have his ears cleaned, will NOT wear dog boots, no touching his hair or tail, he fights everything. No groomer will touch him and my grooming him is a 4 hr ordeal. This winter was hard on his feet due to salt put down by my association to treat the sidewalks and streets. My cat is getting old. And she started having a bunch of scabby spots on her head and back, poor thing. I got this and whenever I feel a scabby spot I put some of this on it. I have to make sure to move her fur a bit to get it on the spot, but it legit heals it in like a day or two. Her head is soft again and she seems a lot happier/less itchy.

My cat kept chewing his front leg then chewed the other raw as well. He is very scared of the vet so I always try to use natural products before putting him through the fear of the vet.
